DESCRIPTION:Event Name: Portland Sea Dogs’ Military Appreciation Game 2026 \nEvent Type: Public \nEvent Date: Sunday\, July 5th\, 2025 \nTime: 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. \nLocation:\nHadlock Field\n271 Park Avenue\nPortland\, ME 04102 \nRegistration Link: N/A \nVolunteer Link: volunteersignup.org/4E9X9 \nDescription: The Summit Project (TSP) is once again teaming up with the Portland Sea Dogs in support of this year’s annual Military Appreciation Game. \nThis year’s game will take place on Sunday\, July 5th\, 2026 at 1:00pm. Prior to the game\, TSP will conduct a pre-game ceremony that will honor Maine fallen heroes\, inviting their Gold Star families out onto the field for a special presentation. This ceremony will begin at 12:20pm\, so please plan your arrival accordingly. Family and friends are welcome to attend. \nIn direct support of The Summit Project\, the Portland Rotary Club will be helping us honor our fallen heroes by dedicating 50 American flags in tribute to their sacrifices made. These flags will be brought onto the infield during our pre-game ceremony. \nIf you would like to support this event as a volunteer\, there are multiple opportunities to assist.
