Prior to the game\, TSP will conduct a pre-game ceremony that will honor (5) fallen Maine heroes\, inviting their Gold Star families out onto the field for a special presentation. This ceremony will begin at 12:20pm\, so please plan your arrival accordingly. Family and friends are welcome to attend. \nIn direct support of The Summit Project\, the Portland Rotary Club will be helping us honor our fallen heroes by dedicating 50 American flags in tribute to their sacrifices made. These flags will be brought onto the infield during our pre-game ceremony. \nIf you would like to support this event as a volunteer\, there are multiple opportunities to assist. SUMMARY:2019 Military Appreciation Sea Dogs Game
DESCRIPTION:Event Type: Public\nThe 2019 Sea Dogs Military Appreciation Game will be hosted on Sunday\, August 11th at Hadlock Field. TSP has been invited to take part and we have a limited supply of complimentary tickets.  First come first serve\, and please limit the request in each family\, so we can invite many!  We plan to enjoy the game\, be the featured veteran support organization\, sit in a dedicated TSP section\, have an opportunity to further communicate our mission within the community.  Come out and watch the Sea Dogs take on the Akron Rubber Ducks and enjoy a day with friends! \n  \nOther special events that day include: \nFans are invited to come play catch on the field prior to the game from 10:00-11:15 AM and the first 500 participants on the field will get a Sea Dogs baseball with the TSP logo on it!  We are excited to work with the Sea Dogs to be able to offer this one of a kind keepsake to our amazing volunteers and Gold Star families that attend! \nOne of our Gold Star Family Member throwing out the first pitch! \nA ceremony on the field before the start of the game that you won’t want to miss! \nFor directions and parking check out the website HERE. \nContact Greg Johnson or Andrea Cutler for tickets! \n
