It is our military heroes who make great sacrifices in order to serve and protect. Some heroes make the Ultimate Sacrifice with their lives. \nMarine Corporal Dustin Libby was killed in action on December 6\, 2006. This event is to dedicated to carrying on Dustin’s legacy. \nThe Cpl. Dustin Libby Memorial Challenge will be held on Sunday June 28\, 2020 starting at the Mapleton Elementary School.  We are pleased to be a part of the Mapleton Daze Festivities! \nThe Cpl. Dustin Libby Memorial Challenge features a Kids 1 Mile Fun Run\, 5K Run/Walk\, and 10K Run on farm field and tarred roads. At the families request\, all proceeds will go to the Mapleton Recreation Department.
