Description:
This year’s 9/11 Memorial event hosted by Travail Adventures will be a 300-mile ruck from Newark Liberty International Airport in Newark, NJ to Shanksville, Pennsylvania, commemorating the heroic efforts of the crew and passenger of United Flight 93 as they overtook the terrorist hijackers and prevented their planned attack on the US Capitol. Beginning August 31st at 08:42 a.m. from Newark and concluding exactly at 10:03 a.m. on September 11th, 2022. Featured this year will be five tribute stones acquired from The Summit Project, each one representing a fallen hero from the state of Maine from all five respective branches of the US Armed Forces.
