Soldier Half Marathon

November 18, 2017 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Event Type: Public

The Soldier Half Marathon course is a 13.1 mile course that starts and finishes at the National Infantry Museum. The start line and finish line are on the Avenue of Flags along the east side of the National Infantry Museum. The first 7.5 miles of the course are on Ft. Benning. The remaining miles are out and back on the RiverWalk from Oxbow Meadows to the Water Works Treatment Facility, then returns on the RiverWalk to the National Infantry Museum.

“The 2016 Soldier Marathon donated $40,000 to the following military beneficiaries: National Infantry Museum, the House of Heroes, Team Red, White, & Blue (RWB), and the Ft. Benning Moral, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) to support soldiers and their families. Since its founding in 2010, the Soldier Marathon has donated over $150,000 to military beneficiaries, and with the support of its runners we will continue that support.” (soldiermarathon.com/beneficiaries, 2017)
