Description: The North Berwick RTX Vets council will be coordinating a very special hike in the Bigelows, Carrabassett Valley, Maine, honoring our fallen Service Members of Maine and paying tribute to the lives that were lost in the terrorist attacks that took place on September 11th, 2001. This event is aligned with the Nokomis JROTC Initiative “Operation Ascend to Remember” where each of Maine’s 4,000ft peaks will be hiked by teams across the state who will be carrying portable flagpoles and erecting them at the summit of each peak simultaneously.
