Description: We are excited to announce a special event in collaboration with the University of Southern Maine, dedicated to honoring our heroes who have made significant sacrifices for our community and country. This event will feature a 7-mile Ruck through the scenic streets of Portland, offering participants a chance to experience the beauty of our city’s architecture and waterfront while reflecting on the bravery of those we honor. Participants will carry a tribute stone, symbolizing their respect and remembrance for our fallen heroes, each stone engraved with the name of a hero to personalize each participant’s journey.

At the conclusion of the ruck, we will host a heartfelt ribbon cutting ceremony for the Honor Case at 1pm in the McGoldrick Center, celebrating not only the contributions of these courageous individuals but also the spirit of community and shared remembrance that unites us all. Many will join us to share their stories and express gratitude for the sacrifices made by our heroes. We encourage all to participate in this meaningful event and show your support.
