Official Proclamation from the Bangor City Council Meeting on April 14, 2014
Another great endorsement letter for TSP. This one from Ben Sprague and the Bangor City Council. Ben is a very good friend, also a Bangor native, Chairman of the City Council (and thus Mayor), a huge supporter of TSP and yes, he is even hiking a stone with us for TSP at BSP 2014. Thanks for all the support from all over Maine, and tonight, I especially thank Ben and the Bangor City Council. I also thank TSP board member, Matt Grondin and his family for accepting the Proclamation and Matt’s remarks. Maine heroes are NOT forgotten. Maine heroes are NOT forgotten.

The Summit Project thanks Congressman Mike Michaud for his overwhelming support! On November 15, 2013, Mike Michaud presented a special flag, flown over the U.S. Capitol, to Raye Rolston, of Stockton Springs, and mother in law of the late MSgt Ryan C.C. Love, USMC. Raye flew all the way from Maine to accept the flag on behalf of all families of fallen Maine heroes and that flag will definitely go with the teams to Katahdin. The Congressman also wrote a commendatory statement in the official Congressional Record and gave us a tour of his office to include model toys of paper mill equipment! Thanks Congressman Michaud for making our day and helping to ensure that Maine heroes are NOT forgotten! With gratitude and remembrance of our fallen.
