Description: On September 11th, 2024, House in the Woods will hike to the summit of Mt. Katahdin with team of 5 veterans and 5 support hikers while carrying tribute stones of our fallen heroes. In addition to this memorial hike on the anniversary of 9/11, veterans will be carrying these stones throughout the bear hunting season, and Gold Star families will stop by the HITW lodge to visit these veterans share with them the stories of their loved ones firsthand.
