Climb to Remember Patriot Day 14/4000′ is an event designed to memorialize those both injured and killed in the 9/11 attacks in New York, The Pentagon, and in the heroic sacrifices by those on United Airlines flight 93. Similarly to Flags on the 48, a program based in New Hampshire, Climb to Remember – 14/4000′ aims to raise our American flag on ALL the summits of the Maine 14 mountains over 4000 feet in remembrance of 9/11. Together with our climbing brethren in New Hampshire this would raise 62 American Flags over ME/NH 4000+’ peaks!!!
