Description:

On Tuesday, May 21, 2024, JROTC cadets from Nokomis Middle/High School will climb to the summit of Tumbledown Mountain in honor of all fallen Service Members from Maine. Carried with them in their packs will be 23 tribute stones in honor of our fallen Maine heroes. Upon reaching the summit, each cadet will take a moment to share the story of the hero they carry, teaching their peers about the life and legacy that was left behind. In doing so, they will carry these stories forward together, remembering these courageous men and women leading into this very special upcoming Memorial Day Weekend.
